Neoma Business School has the ambition to be an innovative challenger to the world’s leading business schools. The school is divided into 3 campuses in France in the cities of Reims, Rouen, and Paris. Neoma Business School offers an extensive portfolio of programs ranging from marketing, communication to accounting, finance, management for over 9,000 students.

Customer Challenges

For several years, one of the keys to its development is the Experiential Education project (ExE Project). To carry out this project, there is a need for educational tools to alternate both theoretical and practical learning approaches in the same place.

Last year, the school installed two “augmented learning rooms” in which the audiovisual equipment is organized around Kramer’s VIA wireless gateways and Kramer Control interfaces.

Kramer’s Solution

To achieve these goals, the managers of Neoma BS set up two interactive training rooms, one on the Reims campus and the other in Rouen. A wireless-based exchange and display system has been set up on 9 workstations that can each accommodate 6 students, with a room broadcasting solution on four central screens, all controlled by two touch screens.

The different workstations are equipped with our VIA GO solution and RC-306 keypads. Two VIA Connect Pro are used for broadcasting in the room without the workstations. A SL-240C controller and two KT-107 touch panels allow the Kramer Control solution to manage the room. A central rack accommodates a VS-1616 matrix switcher, which manages the HDBaseT distribution of video streams, as well as all the VIAs and the IP network part. The software application VIA Site Management is used to manage all the VIAs on both sites.

Results & Customer Feedback

The two classrooms are very appreciated and the professors are neck to neck to book a slot in the calendar to use them. When they enter the classroom, they realize that it offers them innovative possibilities, so that many of them have revised the format of their lesson. A professor revised his pedagogy to make the most of the opportunities offered by the room, enhancing the pleasure of learning and the experience quality.
