Kanagawa, Japan (January 25th, 2021) IDK is pleased to introduce the newly re-engineered MSD-S50 and MSD-S70 to the MSD family. These new Digital Multi Switchers welcome a fresh new look and host of new features, many of which were implemented directly from customer feedback. Consultants and system integrators are sure to find many of the additional features not only useful but provide a way to lower the overall cost of the AV system. “These new MSD models are really the result of the great customer feedback we’ve been receiving,” says Business Development Manager, Brent Tremblay, at IDK America. “Our sales teams from Japan, Europe, and the USA took these responses sincerely and used them to develop the perfect Digital Multi Switcher.”
The MSD-S series includes four (4) new full HD units which are available in either a single or dual output model. IDK’s engineering team has enhanced the web interface to now offer more expanded and improved control functions for external devices, providing system operability from the switcher itself. The MSD-S50 and S70 will also include a picture-in-picture (PinP) mode displaying up to two (2) video images on a single screen and ability to store Bitmap images (custom logo/emblem) which can be selected and displayed. Brent explains “with more and more clients utilizing video conferencing, the PinP mode will bring a huge advantage allowing users to show a split screen and see both the content and remote audience.” The new MSD-S Series will continue to build upon the MSD legacy and offer even more exciting new features to enhance AV systems and provide finest system flexibility.
