CyberTouch

In this ever-increasing online shopping era, conventional brick and mortar storefronts must put in place more innovate marketing to draw in shoppers.  In Sandy, Utah - a small town about 20 minutes south of Salt Lake City, the South Town Mall is taking a step in the right direction; by retrofitting public areas to create experiences that go well beyond traditional shopping. South Town Mall decided to make a more engaging experience for shoppers by adding a CyberTouch 208” (17.3 feet) diagonal interactive touch wall that has since been dubbed “The Kids Wall”. This interactive multi-user touch wall is designed to allow several children to interact with the content (done by others) at the same time. Different emoji’s fall from the top of the screen and children have to touch the correct one to get points.

This multi-touch, multi-user wall is comprised of twelve commercial-grade 55” monitors- 4 monitors long by 3 monitors high. The engineers at CyberTouch designed a monolithic piece of safety glass to protect the monitors from scratches and adverse environments, and create a smooth interactive surface for the users. This Kids Wall encourages parents to bring their children to interact with the wall; and each other- and to ultimately use the shopping center as a destination.
